Dancewear
Dancewear plays a significant role in determining the beauty of the dance form. Appropriate dance costumes allow the dancers to move about freely and comfortably while making the whole act visually appealing and attractive for the viewers to watch.
Dance wears differ from one dance to the other. For example, for ballet dancing, the dancers wear tights or leotards. Ballroom dancers wear ankle length skirt or gown with large feathered skirts. These skirts usually have bright colours and contain bold flower prints. Classic frocked body made of cotton and lycra is also a popular dancewear choice for ballroom dancers as It is comfortable and stylish at the same time.
For salsa, there are dresses made out of thin, natural flowing material rather than nylon and polyesters. Sexy lace-up tops with lace up skirts or trousers look fashionable and are comfortable to wear. The lace up skirts allows ease of movement and the right fit to enhance the beauty of this sizzling dance form.
The bohemian skirt is another great dance wear. Made from crepe and layers of stretch net, the uneven hem of the bohemian skirt offers a great mixture of fashionable style and a light and airy feeling for ease in movement. These skirts are suited for any height and for all dance forms.
Tunics also make good dancing wear. They are both flattering and easy to wear and can be worn with skirts or trousers.
